Yvonne Zeldenthuis

Yvonne (Geleen, 1962) studied Creative Design & Photography in Sittard for four years and spent numerous years working as a freelance graphic designer. Alongside her study, she took lessons in ceramic portrait/model making.

Over the years she has given courses in Youth Crafts and Ceramics for Adults, as well as worked in Creative Activities Guidance.

Her Individuals depict identity and emotions as a type of primal instinct. They are figurative emotional creatures and carriers of symbolic natural elements.

The Individuals of coarse grog clay are soberly glazed with details of clay, rusted metal, glass and a decoration of real gold leaf.

Since 2008, she’s been working in her own studio and has exhibited her ceramic work in various galleries and ceramic markets.
